In Like a Lion

The old saying about March goes something like this... "In like a lion, out like a lamb". Well, today was something of a lamb-like lion. Starting with the left-overs of several inches of snow dropped in the wee hours of the morning, Portlanders went through periods of rain, sun, calm, wind. Definitely a confusing beginning to a month with 31 days, a change in our clocks (yes, day-light savings times starts in two weekends) and several non-holiday celebrations that some consider holidays. St. Patrick's Day, the Ides of March, and of course Mar.10 day.

We Portlanders have another reminder of Mar.10 since Mario's on Broadway is celebrating that Cosmic Coincidence on March 10.
