The admonishment at Pioneer Square is to be merry. It's hard not to be merry when a contingent of Santas arrives to join the Gay Men's Chorus and the lineup of people waiting to see Santa or buy roasted chestnuts. Even though it was cold, everyone had smiles on their faces.
