Hands

These hands were taken in Washington DC and they have inspired me to do a study of hands in 2013. I do have some photos at another site. Many of those are currently on exhibit here in Portland.

Persimmons

We've always loved persimmons. And the tree at the Lan Su Chinese Garden has a beautiful display of them. I'm currently focusing on reflection photography ~ this is one of the four I took at the Garden on my birthday! It was a great day even if it was classically Portland with gray skies and rain!

The Santa Train

The Santa train, Engine 4449, is Portland's steam engine extraordinaire! We were walking in Oaks Bottom when it went on one of its holiday runs. What excitement had by the passengers and the people on Springwater Corridor. The patterns of the smoke as it behinds the train changes constantly as the train moves forward! The train runs again on the 14th, 15th and 16th of December here in Portland!
