Dance Horse Chooses the Pocket on the Right

At the Portland Art Museum, visitors can walk through the outside sculpture court for free. Dance Horse is a perennial favorite even on days with rain and drizzle.

Willamette River

Walk north of the Steel Bridge here in Portland Oregon and you'll normally be able to look down on a small sand and rock beach area. Not so much with our record rainfall ~ today the water was lapping up to the sidewalk area.

Happy Furry Friday

This scene is at Hip Hound on NW 23rd here in Portland. Bentley, the large yellow lab, is one of two shop dogs who meets and greets other dogs and their owners. As you can see he is comfortable around small dogs and Django is comfortable around dogs whose heads are as large as his body!

If you're in the Portland area drop by and see Bentley and his "brother" Malcolm and their owner Jen Heckmann and her crew there at Hip Hound (located between Hoyt and Irving on NW 23rd).

Lichtenstein Reflection

.
Leaving the Portland Art Museum today, I found that the windy day had turned to a rainy, windy day. Roy Lichtenstein's Brushstroke was casting a wonderful reflection across the courtyard.

The Timbers played an exhibition game against the Ajax team from Amsterdam. The Dutch did outdo the hometown team but our guys acquitted themselves well. Go Timbers!!!
