Waiting for Lunch

Huong's Vietnamese food cart always attracts people. And you can't blame them. The aroma from where I'm standing just north of the cart is wonderful. It makes me hungry every time I walk by heading north. The sky was filled with clouds today, big beautiful clouds making the sky an ever changing canvas.

Korngold, Paul and Schnittke

Last night we attended a concert put on by Marzena. Musica Paradiso featured works by these three composers in addition to three other pieces by Britten, Morricone and Gorecki. The cello was featured in all of them except for Korngold and Paul. Justin Kagan, Uber-Cellisto and Coffee Roaster, played in all of the cello selections. Master work by all.
